Pricing work – Often a dilemma

Grrrr… I’m uptight. That’s how I’m feeling at the moment.  This often happens when pricing my work for sale. At the moment I have set some prices for newly completed work.

I’m constantly guaging my work in terms of quality in relation to the market. This in turn effects my price structure.

So the prices are set for these new works. I’m happy with the pricing for all paintings, but one. The price on it has gone up and down; up and down. I have drawn a line in the sand and priced it based on the quality of that work and the amount of hours spent on it… a lot I have to say!

So now with the price set, I have sent it off. Gut feeling it is ok… but arrrgh… as for if the market feels that it is correct? I’ll wait for the feedback!

Of course I may feel different on the price tomorrow… Too bad. It’s gone!
