Marks works range from expressive landscapes through to sensitive portraits.
Much of Mark’s work has been focused on landscapes, in particular, in Canterbury where he lives. Lately, his work has evolved to include a variety of subject matter from portraits through to landscapes.
He has works in both private and corporate collections throughout New Zealand.
His awards include the 2007 Inaugural National Hallifax Art Award, in which he took top prize.
Mark is also a previous winner of the Telecom Art Awards for the Christchurch region in 2001. With which, he has also been a finalist six times, being a double finalist in 1999 and 2001.
